She came and loved Cherry Ripes

Mckenna has already come and gone! Can you believe it? 4 weeks sure did go by fast. It has been so fun with me, McKenna, and Kiersten all hanging out together again, like the good ol' days! It has been 2 years since the three of us have been together. I am already starting to miss her. She was a little piece of home, and I wanted her to stay. Oh well, I will be back in AZ in December (just for a visit). Less than 6 months to go! Anyways, here is what we were up too...

First there was Sydney...

And then the campfires...

Hiking the Burleigh Head Lands...

Off to the horse races!...

Burleigh Beach take two...

McKenna's 21st...

Lone Pine Sanctuary...

4th of July...

And of course there was a lot more fun memories not caught on camera!
To sum it up, we had a blast! Can't wait for her to come back!

a belated shout out for mother's day

This is a picture of me and my mom, Carolyn, almost exactly a year ago. She was visiting me in Brisbane and I took her to a place called Lone Pine to play with some kangaroos and cuddle with some koalas. Anyways, I had never loved spending time with her like I did on this particular trip. I think it's because it was the first time I was away from home and away from her and the time apart had made me realize how grateful I am for her and how much I really missed her. Mom, I love you and I appreciate everything you ever did for me, and everything you continue to do. You are amazing. You're so strong and kind hearted, and you've taught me one of the most important things I'll ever learn...how to be a good, true friend. Thank you for that! And thank you for being my Mom. Miss you xoxo

Hope everyone enjoyed their Mother's Day!
